This my observation about the weather of Phu Quoc Island!
I have been living in Phu Quoc Island since 2021 and have witnessed 2 rainy seasons. Now, I make a report of the changes of rain rate.
MAY: mark a slight change from dried season to rainy season in Phu Quoc island, so it starts some slight and short rain, raining occurs randomly: maybe in the early morning, afternoon or evening. Still sunny daytime.
JUNE: following May, there is more heavy rain at the end of June, still sunny some days weekly.
JULY: Much rain, heavy rain, nearly 20 days of both slight and heavy rain.
AUGUST: continue to rain, there are some constant days of big rain, high humidity, much cloud, it rains day by day.
SEPTEMBER: still raining the 1st, 2nd week, then CHANGE gradually to sunny days. It means that both sunny and rainny days, but the weather get better from the 3rd week of September.
OCTOBER: The amount of rain is decreasing steadily and some random rain appears and disappears quickly.
NOVEMBER: it changes a lot, Phu Quoc island offers a beautiful blue sky and romantic beaches for both local island and international visitors.

I will make a short diary to observe the weather changes to help global travelers to choose which month to visit the island that is suitable for their trip.
TWO MAIN SEASONS: DRIED SEASON from November to April & RAINY SEASON from May to October.
You should consider 2 months: May and October are transitional months, so there are both sunny days & rainy days at random. Maybe it rains some hours in the morning or afternoon and it's sunny as well. OMG, it's difficult to predict when it is raining, even Windy.com may not forecast.....
MUCH RAIN from July to September.
Year 2022: Heavy Rain from July to August.
Year 2023: Sunny from November to April (Still rains, but some slight rain)
May 2023: Some Slight and Heavy Rain, but 2-4 hours.
